Squash And Friends Rescue
I started this rescue to help one of the most overlooked and abused groups of animals: fish. I take in surrenders from owners and pet stores, rehabilitate them, and adopt them out to loving homes. Through these efforts, I have been granted the privilege of observing the wonderful and complex lives of these beautiful creatures who too often have their sentience, intelligence, and individuality underestimated.

SAFR takes in fish who have been abused, neglect, or may have even had loving homes who are simply unable to care for them any longer.
Compassion
SAFR addresses any medical issues and then finds a loving, suitable home for each fishy friend.
Education
SAFR helps to educate others about proper fish care - something that is frequently shrouded in misinformation.
